This is our 1929 Ford Model "A" automobile! This car was purchased by Jim's grandfather Roy Roderick in 1933 and was used as a second car and sometime tractor on his wheat farm on the Colorado prairie for many years.
Jim began a full restoration in 1975, changing it from a "pile of rust" to its present operational state. It has the old-fashioned simplicity of design Ford was famous for in those days, including a 24 HP 4-cylinder engine which has no fuel pump! Things weren't all roses, though - oil changes are recommended every 500 miles!
We drive our Ford daily, so watch for us in your neighborhood! We see a parallel between our old Ford and our concept of service in the buying and selling of real estate - we both get the job done with as little fanfare as possible, proven results every time, and a lot of old-fashioned hard work in between! Thanks for visiting our site and sharing some of our history with us!
